The Victorian Kitchen

 The Victorian Kitchen

This is one of my all time favourite so far, I LOVED how the walls, units and the whole kitchen turned out... The only problem is, I don't have it any more, it sold right away! and for far less than it was worth, but it went to a wonderful person who fell in love with it :0)

Everything was built from scratch. For the walls I used a fabric covering like hessian, then I added the paper brickwork in sections, coloured it all and it really came out perfect for what I wanted

I made the chalk board above the fire, the sink and piping etc, of course the shelving and fire itself

The plate rack was great to make, I used clay moldings that I created myself and then foam board for the rest of it with skewers for the plate rack

The table was made from chipboard and Balsa wood legs. The stone flooring I created from a paste that hardened quickly

As you can see, I'd gone through all of my miniatures to see what I had, some were bought  while others were handmade

I think I share how I created this little maids bell set, it was made from mini Christmas bells, wire and Balsa wood, then painted to match the era

You see there was a lot of work gone into this particular miniature and once day I will create it again

Just a few more miniatures that you can easily create and don't have to spend a lot of money on :0)

These brushes are made from Balsa wood, skewers and fibre Video Link: Handmade Brushes

These buckets are made from card stock, painted and silver rub & buff added to make them look like gun metal

The mop was so easy to make too

These brushes are also easy to make, don't sit there and say I CAN'T, drop by my Youtube channel jennings644 and see how I do it, I will take you through the process step by step so that YOU CAN DO IT!
